There are numerous dogs that are eagerly waiting for a warm home and a loving family in animal shelters or adoption centers or organizations, and also many people who take into consideration obtaining a pet from such a place. It hasn’t been an easy pregnancy and the plan was always to wait until the baby was six months old before adopting a dog. Dogs are very social animals and need that human contact and interaction so giving a dog as a gift to someone that has no time to give back is always a bad idea.
