The brand will sell two primary formats: a powdered daily food topper that can be sprinkled over meals, and cold-pressed training treats designed for active play sessions. The toppers are packaged in 40 g canisters and may be mixed with water to boost palatability, add extra moisture, and encourage dogs that normally turn their noses up at kibble. Four distinct formulas combine venison blood with complementary ingredients such as bone broth, green-lipped mussel, bentonite clay, and manuka honey, each targeting a specific nutritional benefit.
The second offering, marketed under the Blood Buds name, is scheduled to reach shelves in October as 50 g resealable packs. This line includes three separate varieties. Daily Boost pairs venison blood with bone broth for a savory flavor profile, Daily Glow adds hoki-derived lipids to supply protein and omega-3 fatty acids, and Daily Leap incorporates green-lipped mussel omega-3 alongside the blood and lipids for joint support. All three treat formats are intended to serve as convenient training rewards while delivering the same core nutrients found in the topper range.
The brand collects the blood, subjects it to a fine-grinding process, and converts it into a stable powder that retains a low-fat composition and high bioavailability of haem iron and B-vitamins. By turning a waste material into a usable ingredient, the company presents the powder as a protein source that dogs are naturally equipped to digest.
Founder Geoff Bowers highlighted how the launch aligns with the values of British pet owners. He explained that consumers in the UK place a strong emphasis on traceable provenance, natural ingredient lists, and environmentally responsible sourcing. The new range follows the earlier introduction of the K9 Natural line, which already occupies shelf space in several UK pet-food retailers.
